Weaving Connections: Collaborative Support for Students in Foster Care in California Schools

PRESENTED BY: The CSU Center to Close the Opportunity Gap and the San Jose State University Center for Innovation in Applied Education Policy

These e-learning modules explore the interconnected nature of the support system surrounding foster youth in schools while demonstrating how teachers, school counselors, school social workers, school administrators, and school psychologists can collaborate effectively by understanding each other's roles and responsibilities. This training is designed for all those who work within school communities, with the goal of deepening our understanding of each other's roles, enhancing collaboration, and creating a more cohesive support network for foster youth.
