Join us at CSU Long Beach for a Day of Connection, Inspiration & Critical Conversations with PK-12 Educators & Teacher Leaders!

The CSU Center to Close the Opportunity Gap is excited to host its fifth annual conference for PK-12 educators, school professionals, and administrators at CSU Long Beach on Friday, July 25th, 2025 from 9:00AM-1:30PM.

This year’s theme, Rooted in Care: Caring for Our Students, Ourselves and Each Other, emphasizes the critical support within the school community, fostering well-being as interconnected elements for a thriving teaching and learning environment.

The Educators Summit is FREE of charge and will provide the opportunity for educators to come together, listen to keynote speakers, and engage with fellow practitioners during breakout sessions on specific topics of interest. FREE parking, continental breakfast, and lunch will be included.

There will also be virtual option to attend via Zoom where the keynotes and selected breakouts will be broadcasted.

Our EdTalk Speakers are Nichi Avina (2022 CA Teacher of the Year) & Alex Kajitani (2009 CA Teacher of the Year).
